The founder of Strudwick Property Agents is reflecting on living her dream of establishing, owning and operating her own agency as the business celebrates its fourth anniversary.
Strudwick Property Agents launched in 2019 with an office located in Mount Cotton.
Stacey Strudwick said selling properties in the Redlands came as second nature given it was such an enjoyable area to live and work.
“Selling properties in the Redlands doesn’t feel like a job to me as I’m selling the lifestyle I love so much,” she said.
Ms Strudwick had been working in the industry for 10 years before opening the agency at Mount Cotton.
“There have been a lot of ups and downs having to do this on my own but is a rewarding moment to see the results,” she said
I have taken a lot that I’ve learnt from past offices and been able to take a creative lead for my own agency.
Looking towards the future, Ms Strudwick said she had plans to expand the business.
“Right now my heart and soul is in the Mount Cotton office but I have big goals to expand,” Ms Strudwick said.
She said Mount Cotton was a consistently tight market where stock was not readily accessible.
“It is a desirable suburb that a lot of buyers are trying to get their toes into,” she said.
“It’s not easy to service the demand with a lot of buyers, which is keeping prices very firm.”
Ms Strudwick said she had seen a lot of growth since November last year and even though interest rates were rising, prices continued to climb.
