The Donald Simpson Centre’s annual music, song and dance spectacular The Journey will be staged from 2pm with four shows on August 19, 20, 26 and 27.

The show has been produced by Janette Sheehan with a cast of more than 30 performers.

Theatrical group’s Peter Phillips promised a performance journey that would take the audience from Bing Crosby via Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga.

“The rehearsals began in January with Janette applying her skill and focus, attention to detail and her drive for excellence,” Mr Phillps said.

“Her production experience and her skill at using music and dance to create mood is what drives this year’s extravaganza.”

“The word ‘dedicated’ does not even come close to the passion that both the producer and her team have given to this stunning production.”

Tickets are $25 for a reserved, numbered seat. Book on 3821 1089 or at the Donald Simpson Centre.
