Jackson Browne comes to Sirromet as part of his Australian tour with a day on the green performance on December 2.
He will be joined by The Waifs, Vika and Linda and Liz Stringer.
Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007.
Jackson’s newest studio album, Downhill From Everywhere, was released in July 2021 and GRAMMY nominated for Best Americana Album.
It has been 30 years since folk-rockers The Waifs formed and have toured the world, winning multiple ARIA Awards and scoring platinum.
A unique chemistry and profound depth of songwriting talent has bound the three original members – Donna Simpson, Vikki Thorn and Josh Cunningham.
Their abundant choruses, intoxicating instrumentals, lush and joyful harmonies, enchanting live shows and affable natures have won them many loyal fans. In 2017 they celebrated their number one ARIA album, Ironbark.
